| 03/14/2007 - MAC & A.K. READY THEIR NEW MIXTAPE AND ALBUM |
2007 looks to be a big year for East Palo Alto natives Mac & A.K. as they are set to drop their long awaited album entitled "Legendary". This album is the follow up to 2004's Hustle Music Vol. 1. The album is currently in the last stages of post production. It will have a early spring release. Also dropping is the hot mixtape entitled "E&K Music Group Presents: Hood Legends Vol. 1" Hosted By Jusdre (Booty Crack Magazine) and mixed by DJ Doc Boogie and DJ Dizzy. You can preorder both cds in the store section. |

The Demolition Men a.k.a. The Bay Area Mixtape Kings, have released their newest mixtape entitled "Out The Trunk 4" hosted by EPA's own Mac & A.K. "It's a good look" says Mac. " When DJ Impereal and DJ Devro call on you for your services, then you definitely doing something right" said A.K. The mixtape is also available for purchase in the store section. |

| 03/14/2007 - MAC & A.K. TO PERFORM AT THE BAY AREA BLACK MUSIC AWARDS |
Mac & A.K. is set to perform at the first annual Bay Area Black Music Awards to be held Sunday April 15th, at the Scottish Rite Temple in downtown Oakland Ca. Presented by the Black Music Association, this star studded event will feature over 20 live performances from Bay Area and international artists as well as celebrity appearances. Musical legends George Duke, The Pointer Sisters, ConFunkShun, The Hawkins Family and Too $hort will be inducted into the BMA's "Living Legends Hall of Fame" along with a special tribute to Leslie Stovall from 102.9 KBLX. Over 200 artists have been nominated for awards in the categories of gospel, R&B, hip hop, jazz, spoken word, neo soul and blues to name a few. |
| 03/14/2007 - MAC OF MAC & A.K. HAND PICKED TO CO-STAR IN NEW MOVIE |
Mac of Mac & A.K. is set to co-star in a new independent film entitled "A Young Girls Love" along with R&B Chanteuse Genevieve Goings and a host of talented cast members to be named at a later date. The film is written and directed by Bratworks Ent. founder Delana Sheri Lindsey. Filming begins in June of 2007. More info to come later. |
